Suryakumar Yadav trolled an X user over his video of eating in the dugout.

A hilarious twist unfolded during India's thrilling victory over Australia in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 when a video of Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav indulging in a quick snack in the dugout in Chennai went viral. The video shows Yadav casually enjoying a bite during a pivotal moment in the match.

Swiggy, seizing the opportunity, posted the video with a nostalgic twist. However, not everyone was amused by this lighthearted moment. One user decided to mock Yadav for his snack break during a crucial juncture of the match.

“Sir dugout mein baithke kya khate rehto ho, ground par jaake do chaar 6 maarke aao (Sir, why are you eating in the dugout, go and hit some sixes on the ground),” the user wrote sharing the clip.

This caught the 33-year-old batsman attention who had a quick-witted reply for the user.

“Order mereko nahi Swiggy pe de bhai (Don’t order me around, order from Swiggy)," Yadav retorted.

And the memes started pouring in soon after.

Yadav’s tweet is viral with over 8.75 lakh views.

Despite an early setback, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli orchestrated a remarkable turnaround during the match against Australia, with a partnership of 165 runs for the fourth wicket. Rahul's unbeaten 97 and Kohli's 85 contributed significantly to India's chase of 200 runs, securing victory with nearly ten overs to spare.

Suryakumar Yadav has spent the first three matches of the 2023 World Cup on the bench as Team India scripted a remarkable hat-trick of wins in the 50-over tournament.
