Samsung reignited its long-standing rivalry with Apple shortly after the company unveiled its latest hardware at the Glowtime event on Monday. The launch, which featured the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series alongside the Apple Watch Series 10, an updated Apple Watch Ultra 2, and a refreshed AirPods lineup, was met with the usual fanfare and excitement.
However, it also served as a perfect opportunity for Samsung to remind the tech world of its own innovations.
Samsung, known for its competitive spirit, seized the moment to troll Apple on social media. The company reposted a playful dig from 2022 on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, which read, “Let us know when it folds.”
This comment, aimed at Apple’s ongoing reluctance to enter the foldable smartphone market, was a clear reference to Samsung’s advancements in this segment, particularly with its popular Galaxy Z Fold6. The post didn’t stop there—Samsung added a new line, “Still waiting......,” making it evident that the rivalry between the two tech behemoths is far from over.

A third wrote: “My favourite thing about Apple users is how Android is always 10 years ahead but when they finally get the upgrades they try to rub it in everyone's faces.”
A fourth commented: “Long term hate and I’m here for it.”
