Ravi Kishan's daughter joins armed forces under Agnipath scheme

Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan's daughter- Ishita Shukla- joined the armed forces, under the Agnipath scheme, recently. A report in the Economic Times stated that Kishan's 21-year-old daughter had become a cadet of "7 Girl Battalion" in the Delhi Directorate.

The scheme, which was  launched in June 2022, is designed to recruit Indians for the Air Force, Navy and Army services. The scheme provides an opportunity to serve for four years.

In June 2023, the first batch of Agniveers from Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry were attested in a ceremony in Srinagar. In January 2023, Kishan's daughter took part in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi.

"One more achievement has been added to the good fortune of Gorakhpur. Hearty congratulations to Ishita Shukla, daughter of Gorakhpur's popular MP Shri @ravikishann ji, on becoming 'Female Agniveer'! Now she will join Defence Force as a soldier under Agnipath Scheme," one user said.

"On one hand, many leaders of the country want to make their children leaders and make their future in the politics, on the other, respectable @OfcRavikishann ji's daughter will serve the country truly by joining the country's army, I salute such a father," another user wrote.

The actor has three more children-Riva, Tanishk, and Saksham. Riva has followed Kishan's footsteps and has aspirations of establishing a name for herself in the movie industry.
