OYO CEO Ritesh Agarwal has been invited to the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. The billionaire hotelier, whose hospitality chain OYO is gearing up to deal with the huge influx of visitors in Ayodhya, shared a picture of the invite on X.
Agarwal called the Ram Mandir invite a source of “personal joy” and a matter of pride “for the entire nation.” He hailed Ayodhya as a bright spot in India’s spiritual tourism ecosystem as he praised the Uttar Pradesh government’s policies that have enabled OYO to create a strong presence in the city.
“I am humbled by the invitation to attend this momentous occasion. The consecration ceremony on January 22nd represents the opening of a new chapter in India's spiritual legacy,” wrote Ritesh Agarwal.
“The Uttar Pradesh government's progressive policies and infrastructure development have created an environment for tourism and business to flourish in the state. The booming opportunity and entrepreneurship has enabled OYO to establish a strong presence in Ayodhya, with over 50 properties to choose from,” the founder and CEO of OYO wrote as part of his note on the invite.t

He said that OYO is fully prepared to serve the large number of pilgrims that will visit Ayodhya in the coming months. “In Ayodhya, business and belief seamlessly converge - a city of immense spiritual significance that also presents valuable business opportunities,” he wrote.
The invitation card features a sketch of the Ram temple in Ayodhya in the front. Inside, the date for the 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony is mentioned.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will witness several high-profile names in attendance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among other dignitaries, will grace the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple.
Celebrities like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar have also been invited.
