A customer received a sealed empty glass instead of a lime soda delivered by Swiggy and his hilarious tweet went viral quickly. The customer, Aaraynsh, took to social media to share his incredulous experience with a picture of the glass.

The photo shows the customer holding a transparent, empty plastic container, still sealed. "Thanks, Swiggy, for sending me a sealed empty glass. I hope my lime soda will come in another order," he wrote sarcastically. The post has garnered over 2,50,000 views including Swiggy’s.

Swiggy was quick to respond to the unusual incident. "Hi Aaraynsh! That seems odd, can you help us with your order ID? We’ll look into this," the company replied. Aaraynsh later confirmed that the issue had been resolved, stating, "Thanks, resolved now, received a refund of Rs 80 for soda worth Rs 120."
A X user jokingly wrote in comments: “The glass must be Rs 40.”

The customer ultimately incurred a loss of Rs 40 after the incident.

The incident sparked a wave of humorous reactions from other users on X. One user quipped, "It is after deducting GST, Income Tax, still there is something left TDS is applicable." Another commented, "They will send you one bucket of lime soda in next order."

Recently, there have been several alarming reports of food contamination and delivery mishaps. A family reported finding a dead mouse in a bottle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup they ordered from Zepto. One family member had to undergo a medical examination after consuming the contaminated syrup.

In another shocking incident, a couple in Bengaluru discovered a cobra wriggling out of a package delivered by Amazon. The couple had ordered an Xbox controller and found the venomous snake stuck in the duct tape sealing the package.
