Anant Ambani: Radhika has stood like a strong pillar of support during my difficult times

The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to roll in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Ahead of the festivities, Anant Ambani has spoken about his fiancée and her rock-solid support for him during his tough days.

The youngest heir to Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance behemoth at a media event shared, “She’s the person of my dreams. I am lucky (to have her), for sure. Since childhood, I had thought that I would never get married because I was always devoted to taking care of animals. But when I met Radhika, I saw her sharing the same values as me. She has this sense of giving and nurturing towards animals.”

Anant has been battling obesity issues since childhood and his mother Neeta Ambani had spoken about it in an interview saying that he suffers from asthma which makes his weight-loss journey difficult.

Thanking Radhika, Anant shared that it is only because of his would-be better-half that he was able to take on the tough phase. He said, “Beyond that, Radhika has stood like a strong pillar of support during my difficult times, as I battled with health issues. Even my parents never made me feel like I was ill. Even when doctors gave up on certain things, they never did. Additionally, Radhika gave me strength.”

He further thanked his family, saying, “They always told me to not give up and keep fighting, especially for someone who has battled health issues since childhood. There are many people in more pain than me, hence I am grateful to God for everything. I have never paid attention to anything anyone says. It’s their job to gossip, but for me, my family and their support is of the utmost importance.”

The pre-wedding festivities are set to begin on March 1 where several Indian and international artistes, including pop-icon Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh and Arijit Singh are said to be performing at the event held in Reliance Greens Complex.
