Arvind Datta, a Dehradun-based entrepreneur and founder and CEO of Marigold Wealth, recently shared his praise for Emirates Airlines on X, formerly known as Twitter. Datta recounted how the airline's exceptional customer service managed his situation after he missed a connecting flight to Dubai due to a technical fault at Delhi airport.
In his post, Datta expressed his surprise and appreciation for the Emirates staff at Dubai airport who provided new boarding passes, hotel bookings, and visas. "At Dubai airport, Emirates staff was ready with new printed boarding passes and hotel bookings. They provided a visa to go out to the hotel. This service standard sets @emirates apart. Delighting customers always," he wrote.

Since being shared, the tweet has garnered over 600,000 views and over 4,000 likes.
Many users echoed Datta's sentiments, while others compared their experiences with other airlines.
One user commented, "I wholeheartedly agree with this. Qatar airline is also top-notch. I don't think any Indian airline is anywhere near them." Another user remarked, "Can't agree more - They are world’s best. Was and always an Emirates customer, for over 2 decades now!"
A third user shared a similar experience with another airline: "Had a similar experience with Qantas too. I was stuck at Singapore and they helped with everything. We were there for 2 days from visa to hotel as the other flights were at full capacity."
"Emirates seems to surprise economy passengers with business class upgrades more frequently than any other airline," a user shared.
Another added, "Same had happened with me while flying back from Milan to Delhi via Muscat. That was via Oman Airlines. They also arranged a hotel stay at Muscat along with complimentary meals and a visa for Muscat. Idk if every airline does it?"
A user praised Emirates for prioritising passengers' needs: "Loved the experience with @emirates too. They ensured everybody from our flight made it to the connecting flight (even at the cost of delay) when this happened with us. It was about 45 minutes late."
