Edelweiss Mutual Fund CEO Radhika Gupta has said that Indigo’s unhelpful staff and lack of coordination led to her waiting for an hour after a late-night landing so her baby’s stroller could be located. She detailed her “very poor” landing experience with Indigo in a post shared on the microblogging platform X.
Gupta said she was flying from Dubai to Mumbai with her son when Indigo staff misplaced his stroller and car seat. She said she handed both items over to Indigo staff at the departure gate in Dubai with the understanding that she would receive them upon arrival in Mumbai.
Very poor landing experience @IndiGo6E with a child. The purpose of giving strollers at a flight gate on departure is so it is returned at the gate on arrival, because you need strollers to carry a baby immediately.

“The purpose of giving strollers at a flight gate on departure is so it is returned at the gate on arrival, because you need strollers to carry a baby immediately,” she wrote.
Gupta never received the stroller and car seat at the gate in Mumbai. Instead, she had to wait for over an hour until the items could be tracked down. She slammed Indigo staff as “very uncooperative,” saying they had no idea where the stroller could be found and displayed no interest in helping her.
“Airport staff and Indigo were very uncooperative, especially the latter. They neither knew where the stuff will come - belt, oversized area or somewhere else - nor wanted to help,” the CEO of Edelweiss MF wrote.
Radhika Gupta had to wait for over an hour with her baby before her stuff was finally located. She asked Indigo, as an international airline, to get these basic checks in place and take her feedback seriously.
