A video from the forests of Chhattisgarh showing a moment of kindness between CRPF Cobra personnel and tribal children has gained widespread attention online. The footage, originally shared on X by user @KiloMike2, captured the jawan showing animated videos on their mobile phones to a group of children.

In the clip, the children can be seen watching the screen with curiosity and delight as the soldier holds out his phone, introducing them to cartoons — possibly for the first time. The moment stood out for its simplicity and humanity, resonating with viewers across social media.

Sharing the clip, the X user wrote: “Just saw a video of a CRPF Cobra jawan showing cartoon on his phone to tribal kids for the first time deep in the jungles of Chhattisgarh!!”

He further added that the video had moved him deeply: “Made me sad how these kids have missed the very essence of childhood and education due to Naxals, hope we can do everything for them now.”

The short clip has since been widely shared, with many users commenting on how a small act of empathy could bridge deep divides in regions affected by conflict.

Several social media users responded to the post. One user observed: “Watching cartoons is not the essence of childhood. These children must be enjoying their childhood in natural environment. Away from the gadgets.”

Another expressed optimism, writing: “Hope these kids will have a happy and prosperous future.”

A third person echoed the sentiment, adding: “They’re enjoying their childhood in real manner.”
