At CNN’s 'SheShakti2024' event, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud took centre stage alongside renowned singer Usha Uthup, offering a surprise rendition of the classic song "Summer Wine." The song, originally performed by Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra, added a nostalgic touch to the event, which celebrated the achievements of women.
As Uthup led the performance, she playfully urged the Chief Justice to join her in singing, creating a light-hearted moment that drew applause from the audience. His wife, Kalpana Das, looked on with a smile as the duo harmonised to the song’s lyrics.
