Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant pre-wedding festivities: Arijit Singh, Pritam, Hariharan, Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh to perform

Touted to be the event of the year, the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant nuptials are slated to take place on July 12 in Mumbai. But March 1 to 3 will see their pre-wedding festivities, with full traditions in place, take place at the opulent Ambani Estate in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The wedding event and the pre-wedding ceremonies promise to be a beautiful blend of extra-large grandeur in all forms, family traditions, culture and heartfelt fun and revelry.

The special pre-wedding celebrations of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani to Radhika Merchant, daughter of Shaila and Viren Merchant, CEO of a renowned pharmaceuticals, Encore Healthcare, is all set to take place at the Ambani Estate in Jamnagar.

The fun, fervour of the wedding festivities steeped in family tradition and opulence will essentially encapsulate the joyous moments with esteemed guests treated to scrumptious vegetarian fare. If the earlier events at the Ambani households are anything to go by, this wedding is expected to see resplendent décor along with attention to detail and personalised care for guests.

It has been reported that there will be special surprise performances at the events during the three-day wedding celebration. The pre-wedding bash will see Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh, Arijit Singh, Pritam, Hariharan, composer duo Ajay-Atul, among others, perform. Illusionist David Blaine will also perform his tricks at the event.

Anant Ambani is a director on the Boards of Reliance Industries (since September 2022), Jio Platforms, Reliance Retail Ventures, Reliance New Energy, and Reliance New Solar Energy.

Radhika Merchant is a director on the board of Encore Healthcare. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and her Arangetram or the first stage performance was held in June 2022 at the Jio World Centre, Mumbai.

Radhika and Anant got engaged in December 2022 at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan and later in January 2023, an engagement ceremony was held at the Ambani residence, Antilia, in Mumbai. The Lagan Lakhvanu ritual took place last week on February 16.
