Nokia is all set to release its latest feature phone in the market, the all new Nokia 105. The phone will be priced at Rs 999 for single SIM model and Rs 1,149 for double SIM variant, effectively making it the first phone from Nokia ever, to be priced at less than Rs 1,000.
The phone will be available in three colour variants such as Blue, White and black and will have a curved ergonomic polycarbonate body which looks quite refreshing. It will feature a 1.8 inch QQVGA display.
The feature phone will come with a removable 800 mAh battery which the company claims will provide more than 15 hours of talk time. On standby, the once fully charged phone can last for about 35 days.
The phone will run on Nokia Series 30+ software and will possess 4 MB RAM. On connectivity front, it has a Micro-USB port and Mini-SIM slot.
The device will also feature an LED torchlight, which can be activated quickly by double pressing the ‘up’ key. Nokia claims the phone can save more than 2,000 contacts.
Nokia has also pre-loaded the phone with games like Snake Xenzia, Doodle Jump and Crossy Road, the latter two being try-and-buy variants of games.
HMD Global Oy, the Finland based startup, which operates Nokia is the exclusive licensee of Nokia phones and brands laid focus on the role of feature phones in this day and age of high-end smartphones with cutting edge.
Arto Nummela, the CEO of HMD Global in a statement said, “More than 400 million feature phones were sold globally in 2016. We cannot underestimate the need and benefit of being connected and we are dedicated to delivering devices that can enable many people around the world to expand their horizon.”
