Karnataka government on December 6 invited startups, urging them to offer technological products and solutions for different government departments.
Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), under the Department of Electronics, Information Technology and Biotechnology, and Science & Technology, has called for proposals from startups interested in providing solutions for government departments. The deadline for proposal submission is January 4, 2024.
"This initiative aligns with our policy to foster innovation and collaboration opportunities for startups," said Karnataka IT-BT minister Priyank Kharge.

"A comprehensive process has been set in motion to empanel eligible startups, facilitating the procurement of technology products and solutions for state government departments. This is part of the government's broader strategy to enhance the startup ecosystem in Karnataka, a state that leads the country in software/service exports," said Kharge.
Startups interested in participating in this initiative are required to download the electronic copy of the Call for Proposals and submit their proposals through the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal (kppp.karnataka.gov.in). For additional details, visit itbtst.karnataka.gov.in.
