Google Pixel 7 launched in India with Tensor G2 SoC, 90Hz AMOLED Display: Check Price, Specs, Availability

The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have officially been unveiled in India and globally. The Pixel 7 series recently made its debut alongside the Pixel Watch. Our focus in this story will be on the vanilla Pixel 7.

The Pixel 7 price in India starts from Rs 59,999. The handset is offered in Snow, Obsidian, and Lemongrass colour. The Pixel 7 sale in India will begin on October 13 and will take place on Flipkart. Google has announced a limited-time offer, which includes a cashback of Rs 6,000 on the purchase of the Pixel 7.

The Google Pixel 7 is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The phone will also come with 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Pixel 7 sports a 6.32-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display boasts a peak brightness of 1,400 nits and offers HDR support.

The Pixel 7 packs a 4,355 mAh battery that supports 30W wired fast charging and Qi-certified wireless fast charging. Google touts all-day battery life with the Pixel 7 and claims users will be able to pump out up to 72 hours with the Extreme Battery Saver option, although no charger has been included in the box.

For optics, the Pixel 7 gets a dual-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 12 MP ultrawide unit. Additionally, there’s OIS on the main camera and the ultrawide shooter has a 114-degree FoV. On the front, the Pixel 7 opts for a 10.8 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Google also announced a new ‘Cinematic Blur' feature coming to the Pixel 7 series.

The phone features stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint reader. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and more. The Pixel 7 boots stock Android 13 out-of-the-box.

When it comes to the build, the Pixel 7 has Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front and back and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Pixel 7's matte enclosure is made from 100 percent recycled aluminum.
