Mark Weinberger, Global Chairman & CEO at EY, is skeptical about the government's retrospective tax solution in the Budget.
"The US economy is stable (but) it has significant headwinds. You're looking at tremendous uncertainty," he said, pointing to the looming US presidential election, the question of when the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates and what effect that will have on the dollar.
According to Mark Weinberger, global chairman and CEO of EY, the US economy will see stable short-term growth with low interest rate, low inflation and wages coming up a bit, but it is still not where it needs to be.
