      Locked up DAP prices against govt policy: Fertilizer body

      The Cabinet has deferred a decision on giving fertiliser firms the liberty in fixing the maximum retail price (MRP) for di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) today. Reacting to the decision, Satish Chander of Fertilizer Association of India (FAI), however stays ‘confident’ that the decision will be ‘corrected’.

      Satish Chander, Director General, Fertilizer Association of India said there has been no investment in Urea in the past 12 years. He expects urea to be decanalised.
