The company currently has 51 hotels across nine brands with around 9,500 rooms in India.
The French hospitality firm currently has 46 hotels with a total of over 8,700 rooms in India under ten brands ranging from luxury to economy spread across 19 cities.
The hotel, which will be Brigade's second Grand Mercure property, will have 150 rooms and the average rate for a standard room is Rs 6000, says Suresh Kris, CFO of Brigade.
"The journey of OLX from an unknown brand to the leader in online classifieds in India has been full of pioneering moments and milestones. Out of the new hotels that the company is planning to open, around 10 will be under Ibis brand, 10 will be Novotel while rest will be a combination of other brands, Bazin said. The hotels will be in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai and other key tier I, tier II and tier III cities.
