Safari Industries Ltd on November 1, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 39.8 crore for the September quarter of FY24, registering a growth of 53.7 percent from Rs 26 crore last year.
Total revenue of the company stood at Rs 370.02 crore in Q2Fy24, rising 18 percent from Rs 314 crore in the year-ago quarter, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at Rs 63.4 crore, growing by 51.3 percent as against Rs 41.9 crore in the year-ago period. The EBIDTA margin grew to 17.1 percent from XX percent in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The Board of Directors has declared and approved Interim Dividend of Rs. 2.50 (125%) per equity share of Rs. 2/- each for the financial year 2023-24. The aforesaid Interim Dividend will be paid on or before 30th November 2023. The Board has also approved bonus issue in the ratio of 1:1.
Following earnings, share price of Safari were trading 2.86 percent higher to Rs 4,252.20 as of 2:17 pm on NSE.
