BRS Working President K T Rama Rao faces legal action as police registered a case against him on March 30. This move comes after a Congress activist filed a complaint alleging derogatory remarks made by Rama Rao against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

The complaint says Rama Rao has accused Revanth Reddy of collecting money from builders and others and sending it to the party.

The complaint was lodged at Hanumakonda near Warangal, and the police registered a 'zero FIR' before transferring it to the Banjara Hills police station in Hyderabad, citing jurisdictional reasons.

Rama Rao is accused of making these remarks in Hyderabad.

The case has been filed under sections 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke the breach of peace) and 505 (statements conducing to public mischief).
