The SUV was created using the same modular architecture used by the automaker to create the C3 hatchback, which was released in India last year. The C3 Aircross has a distinctive 5+2 seating arrangement, and the manufacturer claims that the last row will provide enough room for kids or short adults over shorter trips. When the third row is folded flat, the SUV has a 511-litre boot. (Image: Citroen)

The fundamental specification model only has a 5-seat layout and lacks the sunroof, and roof-mounted AC vents found in the 7-seat variant. Additionally, speakers, reverse camera, 10.2-inch touchscreen, back wiper, rear defogger and USB charger are also absent. It's interesting to note that the base specification of the vehicle still has nearly all of the safety equipment found on the Max trim, including two airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Hill hold aid, TPMS and reverse parking sensors.
