On Thursday, April 22, the Supreme Court decided to take suo moto notice of the oxygen shortage. It asked the union government to give it a national plan for oxygen supplies, essential drugs and vaccination plan the next day. It also appointed Harish Salve as the Amicus Curiae in the matter.
