The group can be vividly seem intimidating the security staff at the gate with their aggressive posturing and flashing hockey sticks to drive home their point.
The situation spiralled to the point that police had to be called upon. "... A Valentine’s Day programme was taking place when a Hindu organisation vandalised the venue on campus. The students were handed over to their parents, and according to the complaint by the college administration, further action will be taken..." DCP Zone 1, Krishna Lalchandani said.
In a statement, the institute told India Today that an "unauthorised group of individuals" entered the campus and disrupted the student-led 'Bake &Sell' event. "This activity was part of our co-curricular programme, designed to help students develop essential negotiation and commercial skills through practical experience. The group caused damage to campus infrastructure."

"At NMIMS, the safety of our students is our absolute priority. We believe that a secure environment is non-negotiable for the learning process, and such activities by external groups disrupt our institutional ethos, decorum, and academic planning. We can confirm that, through the immediate activation of our security protocols and the swift intervention of the local police, no students or staff members were harmed. The situation was de-escalated professionally, and the individuals were dispersed," the institute added.
