The White House injected politics into Valentine's Day this year with a series of cheeky online cards featuring Nicolás Maduro, Greenland, immigration issues and more, with the caption “Made just for you.”
The official handle shared images on X, with one image showing US President Donald Trump holding what appears to be an “executive order” reading “UR My Valentine”.
Another card shows former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, framed like a Valentine’s card with “To:” and “From:” lines and a photo of him blindfolded during his transfer to New York. “You captured my heart,” the card reads.
The third card features Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen meeting a man who was wrongfully deported to El Salvador by the Trump administration despite a court order halting the move.
The image places them within a heart shape, next to the caption: “My love for you is as strong as Democrats’ love for illegal aliens. I’d fly 1,537 miles to have a drink with you.”
Another card depicts a heart-shaped image of Greenland’s map, again styled with a “To:” line, continuing international backlash before he appeared to step back on the proposal in recent weeks.
The image reads, “It’s time we define our situationship”.

The post quickly split social media, sparking a heated debate. Supporters praised it as a bold and humorous move, while critics called it inappropriate and unworthy of the executive office, accusing it of using a day meant for love to highlight military action and territorial ambitions.
One user said, “This is so pathetic. It sucks that owning the libs is your top priority!”
Another X user said, “I couldn’t be more proud of President Trump and his administration. Seriously, epic.
A third user commented, “The Trump administration is the most vile and corrupt administration to ever exist.”
Another said, “BEST SENSE OF HUMOR this White House has ever had.”
