On Valentine’s Day 2026, jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar made headlines again by claiming he gifted Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez a high-end Airbus H-Series helicopter valued at nearly Rs 30 crore as a romantic gesture from behind bars. In a handwritten letter dated February 14, Sukesh addressed Jacqueline as “Baby Bomma” — a nickname he has used in previous notes — and detailed the lavish present in emotive terms, stating that the helicopter had been specially customised with her initials JF on both the interior and exterior.

The letter, sent from Mandoli Jail in Delhi, where Sukesh is currently lodged in connection with a Rs 200-crore money-laundering and extortion case, also saw him make emotional declarations about love and separation, writing that “every heartbeat” reminded him of the distance between us and describing his feelings of longing and regret. Alongside professing affection, he apologised for what he called the “legal troubles, embarrassment, stress” Fernandez had faced — a likely reference to the ongoing Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation that has tied Jacqueline’s name to alleged possession of proceeds of crime.

“Baby, I’ve arranged a special gift that befits the queen you are," he wrote. “As the world bathes in the Soft Glow of Valentine’s Day, it feels incomplete without you beside me. My heart aches with an intensity that words can scarcely capture. Every heartbeat of mine Especially today, reminds me of the distance between us and every breath carries your name."

Sukesh claimed the helicopter gift was designed to “befit the queen you are” and even suggested that it would help Jacqueline travel to remote shoots or navigate traffic in Mumbai. He insisted the helicopter was bought with his own hard earnings, not from illicit sources — a claim that remains unverified and will likely be scrutinised by investigating agencies.

He continued, “Here I am separated from you by these cold walls, iron cars, missing you like a man lost in the desert. Every moment without your radiant smile, your gentle touch, your laughter, echoes like music in my dreams. Baby, I miss you in ways words struggle to explain."

Responding to the latest letter, Jacqueline Fernandez has not publicly commented on the helicopter claim or the Valentine’s note. In previous proceedings, her legal team has maintained that she is not involved in Sukesh’s criminal activities and that she was unaware of any illegal origin of gifts she may have received.
