Rajouri Garden, one of the 70 assembly constituencies in Delhi and was established in its current form in 2008 following the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India. It is a general category assembly constituency.

The demographics of Rajouri Garden

According to the Election Commission of India, there were 1,11,771 voters in the Rajouri Garden constituency during the 2020 Delhi Assembly Elections. Out of this, 59,445 voters were male and 51,904 were female, while no voter belonged to the third gender.

In 2015, the total number of voters in the Rajouri Garden constituency was 1,17,977. Out of this, 62,804 voters were male and 54,747 were female. There were 425 postal votes in the constituency.

Rajouri Garden Constituency 2015 and 2020 Winners

In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, Dhanwati Chandela of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured the seat with 62,212 votes, while the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) candidate, Ramesh Khanna, garnered 39,240 votes, and an independent candidate, Sukhpal Singh, obtained 5,218 votes.

In the 2017 by-election, Manjinder Singh Sirsa of the BJP emerged victorious with 40,602 votes. Meenakshi Chandela of the Indian National Congress secured 25,950 votes, while AAP's Harjeet Singh received 10,243 votes.

Candidates for 2025 assembly elections

The saffron party has put its bet on Manjinder Singh Sirsa for the Rajouri Garden assembly seat, while the Kejriwal led party has given the ticket to Dhanwati Chandela.

The Rajouri Garden constituency in Delhi Voted on February 5. The results will be declared on February 8, along with the other 69 constituencies in Delhi.
