PM Modi deserves Nobel Peace Prize, says investor Mark Mobius

The German investor also called PM Modi a “great leader” and a “very, very good person”, NDTV said in a report citing an IANS interview

Mobius said PM Modi’s role will “grow internationally” going forward as he is able to “have a dialogue” with all sides of the political spectrum.

Ace investor Mark Mobius on November 12 said Prime Minister Narendra Modi deserves to win Nobel Peace Prize as he is “highly capable” and “a key mediator in the world today”.

The German investor also called PM Modi a “great leader” and a “very, very good person”, NDTV said in a report citing an IANS interview.

Mobius said PM Modi’s role will “grow internationally” going forward as he is able to “have a dialogue” with all sides of the political spectrum.

Modi is highly capable and when it comes to Nobel Peace Prize, “he is deserving of such prestigious honour”, the founder of Mobius Capital Partners LLP said.

The renowned investor also noted in the interview with IANS that India is now at a “take-off” stage where a young demographic with higher productivity, digitization of the economy and a robust infrastructure will help the country develop into a major global economy soon in the future.

The Indian economy is expected to grow 7 percent in FY25, further easing to 6.5 percent the following fiscal.
