Karnataka-based Aequs to supply structural parts for Airbus A220 door program

Dynamatic has awarded Aequs Pvt Ltd a contract for the supply of complex parts for the Airbus A220 Door Program. Over 200 detailed components will be manufactured, in collaboration with them

Karnataka-based Aequs Private Limited and Dynamatic Technologies Limited announced on December 18 a contract for the supply of complex structural parts for the Airbus A220 Door Program.

Under the contract, awarded by Dynamatic Technologies, Aequs will manufacture and deliver over 200 detailed parts requiring advanced tool design, forgings, machining, and surface treatment, leveraging its end-to-end capabilities.

"This five-year contract for critical part supply strengthens the strategic partnership between two key players in the global aerospace supply chain," Aequs Private Limited said in a statement.

Earlier this year, Airbus awarded Dynamatic Technologies one of the largest aerospace export orders to Indian companies for manufacturing and assembling A220 Family aircraft doors, boosting the Government of India's 'Make in India' initiative. The contract also created opportunities for other Indian suppliers by including detailed parts and component manufacturing.
