An IndiGo flight (6E 808) from Vadodara to Bengaluru carrying 177 passengers and six crew members made an emergency landing on September 17, sources told Moneycontrol.
The flight (Airbus A320), which departed Vadodara at 4:08 pm, landed at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport at 6:17 pm.

However, a source told Moneycontrol the incident was due to a glitch in the flight’s control avionics. Flight control avionics are electronic systems that help pilots operate the aircraft’s steering and flight surfaces. “The priority landing was requested because of the technical issue. The aircraft landed safely using secondary control, and passengers disembarked safely,” the source added.
Both IndiGo and Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL), which operates KIA, were unavailable for comment.
