As many as 19 vehicles of the convoy of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had to be towed after water was filled in their fuel tanks instead of diesel. A video of the incident was shared online.

Further, it was reported that the petrol pump was sealed over fuel contamination after the vehicles had to be towed.
"We had got the tank filled with diesel. Some vehicles left after refuelling and broke down after travelling 1 km, while the others broke down here," a driver of one of the vehicles of the convoy said.
According to a report by NDTV, the Food and Civil Supplies Department collected samples of the fuel and later confirmed the presence of water in the diesel.
Meanwhile, officials later managed to arrange a replacement fleet for Chief Minister Yadav from Indore, Hindustan Times reported.
