The ornaments and garments of Ram Lalla were prepared after extensive research and study of texts such as the Adhyatma Ramayana, Valmiki Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas, and the Alavandar Stotram, the temple trust said. The ornaments were crafted by Ankur Anand's Lucknow-based Harsahaimal Shiamlal Jewellers. The Banarasi fabric, featuring a yellow dhoti and a red pataka/angavastram, that Ram Lalla is adorned in was created by Delhi-based textile designer Manish Tripathi, who worked from Ayodhya Dham for the project.

“Ram Lalla is adorned in Banarasi fabric, featuring a yellow dhoti and a red pataka/angavastram. These angavastrams are embellished in pure gold 'zari' and threads, featuring auspicious Vaishnav symbols - Shankh, Padma, Chakra, and Mayur," a member of the temple trust said.

"The creation of the divine ornaments is based on an extensive research and study following the descriptions of Shri Ram's scripturally-appropriate splendour in texts such as the Adhyatma Ramayana, Valmiki Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas, and Alavandar Stotram," he added.

The Ambani family has announced a donation of Rs 2.51 crore to the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust on the historic occasion of Ram Lalla's pran pratishtha in Ayodhya. Mulesh Ambani and his family were also present in the ceremony today along with other dignitaries all across the country.

The foundation of the Mandir has been constructed with a 14-meter- thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), giving it the appearance of artificial rock. No iron is used anywhere in the Mandir. For protection against ground moisture, a 21-foot-high plinth has been constructed using granite.

The ensemble also comprises 108 feet long incense sticks, a substantial 2,100 kg bell, an imposing 1 kg lamp, gold shoes, a 10 feet high lock and key, and a clock capable of displaying the time in eight countries simultaneously. Notably, among the unique gifts reaching the temple are iron-copper "Nagada" and "Onavilu" bows, each weighing 500 kg, adding a distinctive touch to this historic occasion.

Ayodhya and nearby areas experienced misty weather on Monday morning and cold day conditions are predicted to prevail during the day, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The Met Office said shallow fog limited visibility to 1,000 metres until 9 am. According to the weather department, Ayodhya is likely to experience 'cold day' conditions on Monday, with the maximum temperature expected to settle around 15 to 17 degrees Celsius.

A special box of 'prasad' is ready to be given out to invitees on Monday after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. The box contains at least seven different items, including laddoos and a diya. The Temple Trust had placed an order for 15,000 boxes for the guests with Lucknow’s famous sweet shop Chhapan Bhog, which after receiving the order, refused to take money for it. Five lakh laddus prepared at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain city have reached Ayodhya ahead of the Ram temple consecration ceremony on Monday, an official said. The laddus, weighing about 50 gm each, will be distributed to devotees as prasad on the occasion, he said.
