The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has secured victories in the Asansol and Bardhaman-Durgapur Lok Sabha Seats, thanks to the leadership of Shatrughan Sinha and Kirti Azad.

Shatrughan Sinha, a prominent TMC leader, has emerged victorious in the Asansol seat by a margin of 59,564 votes, garnering a total of 605,645 votes. Similarly, Kirti Azad, another TMC candidate, has won the Bardhaman-Durgapur seat with a substantial margin of 137,981 votes, securing a total of 720,667 votes.

TMC's Sayani Ghosh has achieved a significant milestone in the Lok Sabha election, securing a massive lead of over 1.43 lakh votes against BJP's Anirban Ganguly.

This victory adds another feather to the cap of the actress-turned-politician, who has demonstrated formidable strength in the Jadavpur Lok Sabha Constituency. In this year's general elections, Ghosh defeated BJP's candidate Anirban Ganguly and CPI(M)'s candidate Srijan Bhattacharya by an impressive margin of over 2.5 lakh votes. Banerjee also accused the BJP of spreading misinformation in Sandeshkhali and depriving the people of West Bengal of jobs. "You can control ECI, CBI, but INDIA bloc will take you down."

In a strong statement following recent election results, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee declared, "These results have shown that Modi has lost all credibility and he should immediately resign." Banerjee emphasized that many had underestimated her this time around. In the Maldaha Dakshin constituency, Congress candidate Isha Khan Choudhury is leading significantly. He is ahead of Bharatiya Janata Party's Sreerupa Mitra Chaudhury by 127,205 votes. This lead indicates a strong performance by the Congress in this region.

TMC leader and former cricketer Yusuf Pathan has won the Baharampur constituency, defeating the five-time MP and West Bengal Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury by over 70,000 votes. This victory marks a significant political milestone for Pathan and a notable shift in voter sentiment in the region.

"Cooch Behar, Barrackpore, and Howrah" are among the constituencies where the TMC is likely to wrest control from the BJP. In Cooch Behar, TMC candidate Jagadish Basunia is leading by a margin of 2,633 votes over his nearest rival, BJP nominee and Union Minister Nisith Pramanaik.

Additionally, the TMC's Rachana Banerjee is maintaining a comfortable lead of 33,047 votes in Hooghly, putting her ahead of the sitting BJP MP, Locket Chatterjee. This substantial margin further underscores the TMC's strong performance in the region.

Shatrughan Sinha, an actor and TMC candidate for Asansol, has also been proclaimed the winner over Surendrajeet Singh Ahluwalia of the BJP.

Mahua Moitra, a TMC candidate from Krishnanagar, was proclaimed the winner. Kirti Azad, the TMC's nominee for Bardhaman-Durgapur, has also been pronounced the winner.

With more over 6,87,751 votes, Mamata's nephew Abhishek Banerjee is still in the lead from Diamond Harbour.
