Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd notified the exchanges of income tax department surveys at its premises from November 28 to December 2.
The company said it fully cooperated with tax officials, providing necessary information, and will continue to assist with any further details they may need.
"The Company has no additional information to provide at this stage. The Company will update the Stock Exchanges if the matter progresses and in case of any material information/ event is received in this regard," it said in a notice to exchanges.
Earlier on November 29, CNBC TV18 had reported that the income tax department surveyed the Hinduja Global Solutions in Mumbai.
The survey operation is being undertaken as part of a tax evasion investigation and offices in Mumbai and some other cities are being covered, officials told news agency PTI. The survey reportedly includes Ashok Hinduja, who serves as the Chairman of Hinduja Group of Companies (India)
On Friday, the stock gained 1.2 percent to Rs 1018.85 on BSE while India's benchmark Sensex rose 0.74 percent to 67481.19 points.
