Shares of KPI Green Energy Ltd gained 1.7 percent after the company informed that subsidiary KPIG Energia Pvt Ltd has received a solar power contract from Jayco Synthetics.
At 11.10am, the stock was trading at Rs 1,426 on the BSE, up 1.7 percent from its previous close, while the benchmark Sensex gained 0.18 percent to 71,979 points.
KPIG Energia has been awarded the execution contract for a 3-megawatt solar power project under the captive power producer segment. The project is scheduled to be completed in fiscal year 2025 in various tranches as per the terms of the order.
The company had on January 3 informed the exchanges that along with KPIG Energia, it bagged orders for executing 2.1 mw solar power projects under captive power producer segment from Radhey Krishna Terene and Jay Metal Tech. The project is scheduled to be completed in FY25.
KPI Green Energy on December 30 informed the exchanges that its board recommended one bonus share for every two existing shares held.
