AIESEC India to Host the 67th International Youth Congress

As part of AIESEC’s global initiatives to bring student leaders on one platform, the India chapter of the organization is going to host the annual AIESEC International Congress in Gurgaon this year. The last International Congress in India was hosted in the year 2005 and at this annual convening of AIESEC and its members from 126 countries will celebrate youth leadership, cultural diversity and global togetherness for the 67th time. The Congress will commence with its grand inaugural ceremony on 21st August at Hyatt Regency, Gurgaon.
 
With the purpose to gather youth delegates, business leaders, entrepreneurs and global trailblazers from around the world, the International Congress will be a platform to strategize and co-create AIESEC’s vision on the growth story of India and on how far we have evolved ourselves in terms ideas, innovation and technology.
 
The Opening ceremony will be graced by eminent political figures and renowned business tycoons.  With the participation of 20 + Government Dignitaries, AIESEC India Board Members, IC advisory Board, Global Partners, 1400 Young leaders and about 50,000 live viewers, the event will be combination of great insights from the eminent speakers and multi cultural performances.

The ten days extravagant celebration of youth at the 67th International Congress will have a series of events from 21st Aug till 4th September. IC 2015 is envisaged and has been shaping up as a prestigious 10-day Business Conference, an inspirational Leadership Summit and a grand Cultural Extravaganza unveiling the essence of 126 different cultures under one roof.
 
On the very same day of the opening ceremony, global cultural experiences ranging from Venezuelan attires, Brazilian snacks, German beverages and more will be displayed at Global Village for the Indians. AIESEC Alumni International Meeting will be a 3-day event where AIESEC alumni across the globe will unite and come home to live their AIESEC journeys and experiences. To celebrate the rich culture, festivals and diversities, India Night will showcase an incredible experience of the tasty food, folklores and musical performances of the 29 states of India. Apart from these, the ten day event will have a Global Youth Speak Forum for top young leaders to connect to global business leaders to explore the topics of leadership, innovation and corporate responsibility.
 
To conclude the event in style, Electrolux Award Night will acknowledge the winners, and innovation and ideas contributed by AIESEC entities across the globe. A night full of recognition of talents and efforts, AIESEC International Youth Congress will end with new beginnings.
