Satara (Mah), Mar 14 (PTI) A girl student from a Mumbai school died as the horse carriage in which she and a few other students were riding fell into a gorge off the table land at the hill-station town of Panchgani, Maharashtra, this evening. Five girls were injured in the accident, and have been sent to a Pune hospital, police said. Two of them have suffered serious injuries. The girls were part of the picnic group from Gopal Sharma Memorial High School, Powai, in Mumbai. The carriage driver, Nilesh Raju Tambe (23) has been arrested, said Police Sub Inspector Rajendra Bodke. Satara district Superintendent of Police, K Prasanna, visited the spot. PTI COR KRK
