Asian shares advanced, tracking overnight gains on the Wall Street, as Wall Street stocks surged to record highs and the US dollar and bond yields rose, after US President Donald Trump sounded a positive tone about tax reform and said that he would release a "phenomenal" tax plan in the next few weeks. Mahindra & Mahindra, State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, BEML, Bosch, CESC, Crompton Greaves, GAIL (India), Hindustan Zinc, Jaiprakash Associates, Reliance Capital, SRF, Sun TV Network and Tata Power Company are to announce their results today. As per provisional figures, foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/ Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) bought shares worth net Rs 356.63 crore on February 9, 2017.
