MMTC up 6.5%, to sell 10% of ICEX equity to 2 bidders

Shares of MMTC gained 6.5 percent intraday Tuesday post the company has approved the proposal for sale of 10 percent of ICEX equity.

    Moneycontrol BureauShares of MMTC gained 6.5 percent intraday Tuesday as the company has approved proposal for sale of 10 percent of Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX) equity i.e. 5 percent each, to the two bidders who participated in the global tender, subject to the approval by the government and forward markets commission.The company's present holding is 26 percent in ICEX at Rs 10 per share.The 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on September 29, 2015.At 09:36 hrs MMTC was quoting at Rs 44.55, up Rs 2.35, or 5.57 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
