    Moneycontrol BureauKalpataru Power Transmission shares hit fresh nine-year high of Rs 298 Monday, up 3.5 percent intraday on bagging transmission contract in West Africa.

    The Mumbai-based EPC company has secured transmission line construction project in West Africa of approximately Rs 737 crore.

    It also received contract for construction of 220 kv GIS substations for Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam of around Rs 86 crore.

    "We have announced orders in excess of Rs 5,000 crore in this year till date, which will help us achieving healthy growth for future," Manish Mohnot, MD said.

    At 11:11 hours IST, the stock was quoting at Rs 290.05, up Rs 2.20, or 0.76 percent on the BSE.
