Inox Wind shares gain on winning 51 MW order from First Energy

    Inox Wind share price rose in the early on July 23 following 51 MW order win from First Energy.

    At 09:17am, Inox Wind was quoting at Rs 166.80, up Rs 1.30, or 0.79 percent, on the BSE.

    ".... has bagged a 51 MW order from First Energy (FEPL), for the supply of company's 3 MW class turbines having 140-meter hub height and rotor diameter of 145 meters," company said in its release.

    FEPL will set up these turbines at its project site being developed in Tamil Nadu through its SPV First Energy 10 Private Limited.

    Additionally, the order scope includes limited scope EPC services for the project including supervision, as well as multi-year operations & maintenance (O&M) services post the commissioning of the WTGs, to be implemented through the subsidiaries of IWL.

    The board of directors of the company at its meeting held on July 17 approved funds raising through the issuance of equity shares of face value Rs 10 each by way of rights issue for an amount
    not exceeding Rs 1,250 crore to the eligible equity shareholders of the company as on the record date.

    In the previous trading session, the share closed down 0.81 percent or Rs 1.35 at Rs 165.50.

    The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 262.10 and a 52-week low of Rs 130.20 on 23 September, 2024 and 28 January, 2025, respectively.

    Currently, the stock is trading 36.36 percent below its 52-week high and 28.11 percent above its 52-week low.

    The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 27,090.44 crore.
