Shahina Mukadam, Independent Market Expert told CNBC-TV18, "In Tata Power one can keep a stoploss at Rs 75. I personally hold Tata Power. I give a target of Rs 97. I think the consolidation that they are trying to do in terms of their renewable energy business into the separate company, I think that is going to be positive in terms of value unlocking for shareholders in the longer term. As well as their Mundra plant and the coal prices should support their numbers, so I would agree with a hold."
At 15:10 hrs Tata Power Company was quoting at Rs 87.00, up Rs 0.20, or 0.23 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 101.75 and 52-week low Rs 75.90 on 05 January, 2018 and 11 August, 2017, respectively.
