Government sources on BHEL says
-Share buyback not possible for BHEL
-Open to 5% FPO/Auction for BHEL
-BHEL share sale only when stock markets recover
-BHEL currently has Rs 9000 crore in cash 
-Cash reserves already committed for expansion
-Alert: BHEL paid dividend of Rs 1044 crore for FY12

Vedanta says
-Offered Rs 16,000 crore for BALCO, Hindustan Zinc based on January prices
-Cairn India output seen at 240,000 barrel/day soon
-Government yet to respond to company's offer for HZL, BALCO
-Government asked company to make offer; up to government now to decide

Govt says on ONGC Auction:
-Average bid price for ONGC auction at Rs 303.67/share
-Got 2,763 valid bids in ONGC share auction
-Bids worth Rs 3,693 crore cancelled for ONGC share sale
-Bids cancelled by members due to insufficient funds
-Total 1,219 bids cancelled

IDBI Bank says
-5% of the issue will be given to LIC as preferential allotment
-Rs 2130 crore of bonds that company holds will be converted to equity
-Government equity likely to go up to 70-71% from 65%
-Expect to maintain NIM
