    One 97 Communications (Paytm)

    The Supreme Court has stayed the proceedings of the show cause notice for a liability of Rs 5,712 crore against the company’s subsidiary First Games Technology. On April 28, 2025, the Directorate General of GST Intelligence had issued a show cause notice to First Games for a proposed liability of Rs 5,712 crore, along with applicable interest and penalties, for the period from January 2018 to March 2023.

    Eternal (Zomato)

    Eternal (Zomato) may face passive outflows nearing $840 million as global index majors FTSE Russell and MSCI are set to reduce their weightage in the company’s portfolios, according to a report by CNBC TV-18, citing IIFL Capital Services. These changes follow a sharp reduction in the company’s foreign ownership limit (FOL), which has been cut from 100 percent to 49.5 percent.

    Zydus Lifesciences

    The company has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Isotretinoin capsules. Isotretinoin capsules are indicated for the treatment of severe, disfiguring nodular acne. The capsules will be produced at the company’s manufacturing site in Moraiya, Ahmedabad.

    NIBE

    The company has received an export purchase order valued at $17.52 million (approximately Rs 150.62 crore) from a globally renowned defence technology company based in Israel. The order involves the manufacturing and supply of Universal Rocket Launchers.

    Havells India

    The company has decided to enhance its annual manufacturing capacity of cables at its Alwar location by an additional 0.25 lakh km, with an investment of Rs 340 crore. This will increase the total annual cable manufacturing capacity at Alwar to 41.45 lakh km. The additional investment is proposed to be funded through internal accruals, and the expanded capacity is expected to be operational by September 2026.

    Sun Pharmaceutical Industries

    The company has agreed to invest up to $25 million in the US-based biopharmaceutical firm Pharmazz Inc. for a 22.7% stake.

    Bharti Airtel

    The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeals filed by the company’s subsidiary Bharti Telemedia. Bharti Telemedia had filed appeals before the Supreme Court against judgments of various High Courts, which had upheld the competence of the State Governments to levy entertainment tax on DTH services. The total estimated exposure due to the said judgment is Rs 585 crore, which is fully provisioned in the books, and against which Rs 575 crore has already been paid by Bharti Telemedia. Bharti Telemedia is further examining the judgment and will decide on the next course of action, if any.

    Oil and Natural Gas Corporation

    The joint venture of ONGC, Hardy Exploration & Production (India) Inc., and Invenire Petrodyne has commenced production from the PY-3 Field, located offshore in the Cauvery Basin on the east coast of India. The PY-3 Field had been shut since July 2011.

    First Sentier Investors ICVC-SI Indian Subcontinent Sustainability Fund acquired 2.96 lakh shares in the company at an average price of Rs 1,638.39 per share.

    Gravita India

    Promoter Rajat Agrawal sold 25 lakh shares in the company at an average price of Rs 1,991.52 per share. Meanwhile, Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company - NTDOP (PMS) bought 7.33 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 1,991 per share.

    Interarch Building Solutions

    Eam Emerging Markets Small Cap Fund LP acquired 92,821 shares in the company at an average price of Rs 2,147.42 per share.

    Lloyds Engineering Works

    Promoter Lloyds Enterprises sold 2.68 crore shares in the company at an average price of Rs 48.5 per share to Thriveni Earthmovers.

    Ramco Cements

    Nippon India Mutual Fund acquired 19.5 lakh shares in the company at an average price of Rs 1,005.03 per share.

    Pondy Oxides & Chemicals

    Promoters Saroj Rajendra Prasad Bansal sold 2 lakh shares in Pondy Oxides at an average price of Rs 750 per share, while Anil Kumar Bansal offloaded 4 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 763.32 per share. On the other hand, Bandhan Mutual Fund acquired 2.54 lakh shares in Pondy Oxides at an average price of Rs 750 per share.
