Capital market stocks surged on Monday as benchmark indices extended their winning streak for the sixth consecutive session, with the Nifty turning positive for 2025.

Shares of HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC), Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) and Angel One saw strong buying interest, reflecting renewed optimism in the domestic equity market.

The Nifty has now logged its longest gaining streak since September 26, 2024, adding a market capitalisation of Rs 2.6 lakh crore. The BSE Sensex climbed 5.61 percent, while the Nifty advanced 5.65 percent over the last six sessions, buoyed by improving foreign inflows and supportive global cues.

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), whose selling pressure had been easing, turned net buyers, encouraged by dovish signals from the US Federal Reserve. Expectations of two interest rate cuts this year have bolstered sentiment, drawing renewed foreign investments into Indian equities. FIIs purchased equities worth Rs 3,239.14 crore on Thursday and further added Rs 7,470.36 crore on Friday, according to exchange data.

Among individual stocks, HDFC AMC surged 2.89 percent to touch an intraday high of Rs 4,110 on the NSE, while CAMS gained 1.62 percent to reach Rs 3,877.85.

Angel One also saw strong momentum, rising 3.73 percent to hit Rs 2,424 per share. The stock has gained 21.76 percent over the past six sessions.

Shares of 360 One Wam Ltd extended their rally for the sixth consecutive session, rising 5.82 percent to an intraday high of Rs 997.60. The stock has gained 16.08 percent over the past week.

The ongoing rally has significantly boosted investor wealth, with equity market capitalisation swelling by approximately Rs 26 lakh crore over the six-day uptrend.
