BSE sets circuit limit for 22 companies

In a circular, BSE said that the prices of 11 companies including Supreme Infrastructure India, Empee Distilleries, Shreyas Shipping & Logistics cannot change by more than 10 percent in a day.

Leading bourse BSE today revised the daily circuit limit for the share movement of 22 companies including Supreme Infrastructure and Mawana Sugars, as part of its surveillance action.

The new limits, which ensure that stock prices do not go up or down beyond a level during a trading session, will be effective from tomorrow.

In a circular, BSE said that the prices of 11 companies including Supreme Infrastructure India, Empee Distilleries, Shreyas Shipping & Logistics cannot change by more than 10 per cent in a day.

Besides, the stock exchange has set a limit of 5 per cent for 10 firms including Mawana Sugars, Yuvraaj Hygiene Products, Safal Securities, Innovative Tech Pack, Hydro S & S Industries, DQ Entertainment (International) and Mirc Electronics.

However, the limit has been fixed at 2 per cent for UV Boards.

"Trading members of the exchange are... informed that the circuit filters has/have been changed from their existing levels in (22) scrips with effect from February 17, 2016," BSE said.
