Ather Energy shares surged 5 percent a day after listing amid fresh buying in the electric two-wheeler maker. The stock on Tuesday settled with a discount of nearly 6 percent against the issue price of Rs 321.
Shares of Ather Energy touched an intraday high of Rs 329.75 per share on the NSE, rising 9.08 percent. The stock had opened gap-down with a loss of 4.1 percent today.
On its debut day, the stock started the trade at Rs 326.05, up 1.57 percent from the issue price on the BSE, but soon gave up the gains to slip into negative territory. During the day, it hit a high of Rs 332.90 and a low of Rs 300. Shares of the firm finally ended at Rs 302.50 apiece, down 5.76 percent.
On the NSE, the stock was listed at Rs 328, a premium of 2.18 percent. Shares of the firm later ended at Rs 302.30 each, a decline of 5.82 percent.
The company's market valuation stood at Rs 11,762.28 crore, from Rs 11,266.90 crore.
The company also informed that a board meeting will be held on 12-May-2025 to consider and approve the financial results of the company for the quarter and yearly ended March 2025.
