Leading index provider Asia Index on June 10 announced host of changes in BSE indices as part of reconstitution exercise

    Leading index provider Asia Index on June 10 announced host of changes in BSE indices as part of reconstitution exercise.

    Under the changes, Apollo Tyres will be dropped from S&P BSE auto index, while United Bank of India will move out from PSU index.

    The changes will become effective from June 20, Asia Index, which is a BSE and S&P Dow Jones Indices joint venture, said in a statement.

    Further, Hero MotoCorp will enter Greenex index replacing UltraTech Cement. Besides, Nilkamal will replace Bajaj Electricals in the consumer durables index.

    Mahindra Life space Developers and DB Realty will exit from realty index.

    Moreover, Crompton Greaves, Texmaco Rail & Engineering, Greaves Cotton and Praj Industries will be added in the capital goods index.
