ACME Venus Urja Private Limited, a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has secured long-term project funding of ₹3,892 crore from the State Bank of India (SBI) for the development and construction of a 400 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The repayment is spread across 19 years.
The project, located in Barmer, Rajasthan, is contracted with NHPC at a tariff of ₹4.64 per unit. It will involve installing solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to meet supply obligations and ensure higher dispatchability as per the PPA conditions.
ACME Solar Holdings is an integrated renewable energy player with a portfolio in solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions, with an operational capacity of 2,890 MW. The company manages end-to-end development and O&M of the plants through its in-house EPC and O&M division.
