Q2 Results Highlights: Patanjali Foods net profit rises 67% to Rs 517 crore, revenue up 21%

Balkrishna Industries reported a standalone net profit of Rs 265 crore for Q2 FY26. This marks a 24% YoY fall from the Rs 349.5 crore net profit reported in Q2 FY25. The firm’s revenue from operations fell over 1% YoY to Rs 2,389 crore.

Patanjali Foods reported a standalone net profit of Rs 517 crore for Q2 FY26. This marks a 67% YoY rise from the Rs 309 crore net profit reported in the same period last year. The firm's revenue from operations meanwhile rose 21% YoY to Rs 9,799 crore during the quarter under review.

Godrej Consumer Products reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 459 crore for Q2 FY26. This marks a 6.5% YoY fall from the Rs 491 crore net profit reported in the same period last year. The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose 4% YoY to Rs 3,825 crore.

Bank of Baroda reported a net profit of Rs 4,809 crore for Q2 FY26. This marks a 8% YoY fall from the Rs 5,237 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The firm's net interest income (NII) meanwhile rose 3% YoY to Rs 11,953.61 crore.

Along with the Q2 results, Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL)  announced an interim dividend of Rs 7.5 per equity share for FY26. The record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders set to receive the payment has been set at November 7.

It incurred losses of Rs 4.7 crore related to a joint venture and a total tax expense of Rs 5.6 crore.

Shriram Finance on October 31 reported 11% jump in net profit at Rs 2,307 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025.

GAIL Ltd on October 31 reported 17% decline in net profit at Rs 2,217 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025.

The firm's revenue rose 6% to Rs 35,031 crore.

Maruti Suzuki India reported a net profit of Rs 3,293 crore for Q2 FY26. This marks a 7% YoY rise from the 3,069 crore net profit reported in Q2 FY25. The firm's revenue from operations rose 13% YoY to Rs 42,101 crore.

The country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India, is looking to launch its maiden small hybrid car, which is likely to be the Fronx compact SUV, with an in-house developed strong hybrid powertrain by the second quarter of the next fiscal, two separate sources told Moneycontrol.

For reference, a strong hybrid is a type of powertrain that combines an internal combustion engine (ICE) with an electric motor and a battery system, capable of driving the vehicle on electric power alone for short distances.

The shares of Maruti Suzuki were trading in green with marginal gains. The stock is up 0.72% to trade at Rs 16,323 apiece. The automaker is set to release results for the July-September quarter of the ongoing financial year 2026 later today.
