ONGC Q1 PAT seen up 28.7% YoY to Rs. 5,000.3 cr: Kotak

Kotak has come out with its first quarter (April-June’ 18) earnings estimates for the Energy sector. The brokerage house expects ONGC to report net profit at Rs. 5,000.3 crore up 28.7% year-on-year (down 15.5% quarter-on-quarter).

Net Sales are expected to increase by 22.4 percent Y-o-Y (down 2.6 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 23,349.7 crore, according to Kotak.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to rise by 26.6 percent Y-o-Y (up 9.9 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 12,510.3 crore.
