National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has registered a 31.3 percent growth in net profit at Rs 44 crore for the quarter ended June compared to Rs 33.5 crore in same quarter last year, driven by strong revenue growth.
Revenue increased by 36.7 percent to Rs 1,149.2 crore from Rs 840.8 crore year-on-year, aided by growth across segments.
Project management consultancy business grew by 30.4 percent on yearly basis to Rs 970.6 crore with EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) up 24.3 percent.
Real estate and engineering segment revenue jumped 94 percent to Rs 127.2 crore with EBIT rising 116 percent whereas procurement and construction business reported a 81.5 percent growth at Rs 49 crore with EBIT down 67 percent in first quarter of FY16.
